Privacy

BurningBuilding is run by Janko van Deventer (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 76981886). Here’s a short, honest account of what happens to your data.

In short

• This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.
• The fire meter does all its maths in your own browser. Your numbers are not stored and not sent anywhere.
• If you email me, I use your name, your email address and what you send only to reply and to help you.

What I keep

I keep emails as long as our contact or an assignment needs them. If it becomes an assignment, I keep what my accounts require for as long as the law asks. I don’t sell your data and don’t share it with anyone.

Hosting and email

The website runs on Cloudflare and email goes through TransIP. Like any web server, they process technical data such as your IP address to keep the site and email safe and fast.

Your rights

You can always ask which data I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it. Email fire@burningbuilding.nl. If you disagree with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
